Located in the village of Churchinford in the Parish of Churchstanton, The York Inn sits 10 miles equal distance to Taunton, Honiton and Chard. This small, mainly farming village is designated an area of "outstanding natural beauty" and more recently "environmentally sensitive".

The York Inn is a traditional hostelry dating back, in some parts, to the 16th century, with open fireplace, oak beams and yet offers contemporary facilities. Our 3 en-suite bedrooms are spacious and offer tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, colour television and full heating.The York Inn enjoys a fine reputation for good food and features many classic dishes on its dining room menu. The local bar has interesting and freshly made bar snacks. We also have a pool room and darts area. Regular live entertainment is popular. Churchinford is ideally situated for touring the West Country. Both north and south coast are within 45 minutes drive. For sports enthusiasts we have a superb sports center and golf coures within five miles and a well run riding school just outside the village offering woodland hacks and superb views.

Both trout and coarse fishing is available at the beautiful Fishponds and Otterhead lakes.
